Mastering the bike

This was a big day for Alex.  

A few weeks before this was taken, Alex, had learnt to ride his bike with out stabilisers but he didn't quite know how to start off by himself.  So while he was hanging out in our garden we cheered him on and he decided to give it a go. Finally, his persevering paid off and he got it.  He was ever so proud.

But…

Later, came his first big fall.  I just happened to have my camera in hand and took these pictures of him sharing his wounds while getting some comfort from his mum.  Thankfully it didn't take long before he cracked into a smile and got back to his happy fun loving self, playing with his best mate, Marino.
