Perfect Location

Really could you ask for a better place to sleep?

This, to me, is perfection… salty air and sand, rugged Pohutakawa trees, Tuis (which are native New Zealand birds) singing their beautiful tune, warm turquoise waters, opportunities for children to create and make friends, rainbows, pink skies & being lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf.

We are very lucky in Northland there are just so many beautiful beaches to choose from but I have to say this is one of our favourites in the off season. An added bonus is there is no cell phone coverage,  if you really need to get in touch with someone you have to hike up a hill to get reception. Being able to go away for an impromptu weekend away in our van is very important to us, as is being by the ocean and playing outdoors, it just gives us that much needed energy boost and removes us from other distractions and chores at home.
